Jason is an associate attorney with Singler & Dillon who represents clients in both litigation and transactional matters. He began his legal career in the summer of 2006, as a law clerk with a boutique Santa Monica law firm that practiced primarily employment and civil rights litigation. In 2007, Jason was admitted to the California Bar and continued working for the same firm as an associate attorney. While there, he actively participated in numerous complex matters from pre-litigation to settlement. After relocating to the Bay area in September 2009, Jason joined Singler & Dillon, already having a substantial background in litigation. Since joining Singler & Dillon, Jason has handled a wide variety of cases including unfair competition, trademark, civil rights, insurance bad faith, bankruptcy and landlord & tenant matters. He also oversees the firms corporate record-keeping practice.
Born in rural northeastern, Pennsylvania, Jason moved to California to attend the University of Southern California. While enrolled at USC, Jason also studied at the University of Sussex and the Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan. Additionally, Jason served as a State Department intern in the consular section of the United States Embassy in London.
After graduating magna cum laude from USC's Marshall School of Business, Jason attended Pepperdine University School of Law on a full-tuition Dean's Scholarship, There, he graduated cum laude/Order of the Coif, and served on the Pepperdine Law Review. He also studied at Pepperdine's London campus for a summer term. While in London, Jason interned with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker. His work in the corporate department of the firm's busy London office allowed Jason to be actively involved in the drafting and execution of several intricate international business transactions.
